Velamood ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data within the Velamood mobile application. Unlike traditional tracking applications, Velamood is designed as a local-first, serverless application.

1. Information Collection and Use

We believe that your private thoughts, emotional logs, sleep metrics, and daily scores belong exclusively to you.

• Personal Data: The app does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide personal details such as your name, email address, or phone number to use the core offline application.
• Journal Entries & Analytics: All entries, mood logs, notes, stress parameters, personal satisfaction numbers, and sleep hours are stored strictly inside an isolated SQLite database encrypted within your local hardware storage. We do not have access to this data, and it is never transmitted to external web servers.

2. Local Backups

The app includes a manual export/import tool that creates a standard JSON data schema file structure of your history layout. If you choose to utilize this tool, the file is saved directly to your device's local memory or any third-party cloud container directory you explicitly select. You are solely responsible for the safety and handling of your exported JSON packages.

3. Advertising and Third-Party Services

To provide the application free of charge, and keep it accessible as a free download without locking core features behind paywalls, Velamood integrates the Google AdMob advertising SDK wrapper modules. Google AdMob may collect and process device parameters to deliver ads.

These third-party data processing engines may automatically collect tracking metrics including, but not limited to:

• Your device's IP address and operating system type.
• Advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID or IDFA tokens).
• Anonymized diagnostic and usage metrics performance counters.

To ensure the highest possible compliance standards, the application initializes ad requests with the requestNonPersonalizedAdsOnly restriction parameter active by default for standard users. 4. Data Retention and Deletion

Because your database file acts as a local silo inside your phone operating system hardware container, we do not hold copies of your files. If you wish to wipe your timeline logs completely, you can do so instantly by uninstalling the application from your Android system settings or clearing the app storage layout cache within your device dashboard menu. This action permanently deletes all SQLite records.

5. Children's Privacy

These services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers (if applicable) or suggest clearing local data caches.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
